Clubs, Awards, & Activities

My academic and professional journey has included recognition for academic achievement, military service, leadership, and continued professional development. These accomplishments reflect the experiences that have shaped both my education and career in cybersecurity.

Summa Cum Laude

Trident University International

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Trident University International after completing my Associate of Science in Cybersecurity with a 3.93 GPA. Completing my degree while continuing to work full-time in cybersecurity required balancing professional responsibilities with academic coursework. This recognition represents both my academic performance and my commitment to continuing my education and professional development within the cybersecurity field.

Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal

During my service in the United States Navy, I received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in recognition of my professional performance and contributions to the mission. My military career provided many of the technical and leadership experiences that became the foundation for my career in information technology and cybersecurity. The award represents not only an individual accomplishment but also the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and leadership that I carried forward into my civilian career.

Joint Service Achievement Medal

I received the Joint Service Achievement Medal while serving in a joint military environment alongside personnel from multiple branches of the United States Armed Forces. Working in a joint environment required communication, adaptability, and the ability to support a mission involving people with different responsibilities and technical backgrounds. This experience helped strengthen my ability to work across teams, which continues to be an important part of my professional work in cybersecurity.

Academic & Professional Activities

My college experience has been somewhat different from that of a traditional full-time student because I completed my education while maintaining a full-time career in cybersecurity. As a result, my extracurricular development has primarily taken place through professional cybersecurity work, technical training, certifications, and continued education rather than traditional campus organizations. Balancing these responsibilities has allowed me to apply concepts from my coursework directly to real-world information systems while bringing professional experience into my academic work.
